Steel Ladder Treads

Steel ladder treads are made of steel gratings. The surface of this product is generally treated with hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. Steel ladder treads are mainly used as industrial platforms, ladder treads, handrails, passage floors, railway bridge sideways, high-altitude tower platforms, drainage ditch covers, manhole covers, road barriers, multi-story parking lots, fences for offices, schools, factories, enterprises, sports fields, and garden villas. They can also be used as external windows of residential houses, balcony guardrails, guardrails for highways and railways, etc. Ladder treads are deep-processed products made of steel gratings plus anti-slip strips and side panels.

Steel ladder treads are also called treads and ladder treads. The treads produced by our company have four forms according to whether there is a front guard plate and the connection method with the ladder beam, which are expressed as T1, T2, T3, and T4.

From an economic point of view, it is recommended to use the recommended width (125, 155, 185, 215, 245, 275 for series 1, 125, 165, 205, 245, 275 mm for series 2, etc.) as multiples of 100 mm (such as 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1200 mm, etc.). Stair tread tolerance: width W ± 3 mm, length L - 3 mm

Types of steel stair treads (ladder treads):

(1) According to the installation of the ladder treads, they are divided into welded ladder treads and bolted ladder treads. Among them, the welded ladder treads are steel gratings, and the bolted ladder treads need to add 65X5mm flat steel to the steel grating as side plates.

(2) According to the anti-slip requirements of the ladder treads, they can be divided into ladder treads with front guards (patterned plates or steel bars) and ladder treads without front guards. T325/30/100 (applicable to ladder tread width greater than 215mm but not greater than 305mm) T255/30/100 ((applicable to ladder tread width greater than 215mm but not greater than 305mm) For safety reasons, customers are advised to use ladder treads with front guards.
